Solid wood face frames vs plywood boxes on site, which do you hate less?

I've been building cabinets for a living over in Grand Rapids for about 8 years now, and I keep going back and forth on this. Pre-finished plywood boxes with glued and nailed face frames go together fast, but I've had three callbacks this year where the face frame shifted on the glue joint after the customer's house settled. On the other hand, doing full solid wood frames where the stiles actually wrap the box corners takes me almost twice as long per cabinet, but I never heard a peep from that one client in Eastown who paid for it. So my question is, who here builds face frames separate and who does the old school wrap method, and does your local climate or the paint grade vs stain grade change your call? I just quoted a kitchen at $14,500 and I'm stuck on which way to go.
