Why does nobody talk about how much drawer slide brand matters more than wood choice
Spent $340 on Blum Tandem slides for a maple vanity in Portland after my third callback on cheap imports, and I will never go back to saving $8 a pair again, so who else has a brand they refuse to switch off of?
Wait you spent $340 on slides for a vanity? That's wild to me but also kinda makes me want to check my own cabinets lol. I always thought the wood was the whole ballgame and the hardware was just an afterthought, but hearing you say you did three callbacks on cheap ones really makes me rethink that. Blum Tandem keeps coming up every time I dig into this stuff, so there's clearly a reason people swear by them. Guess the hidden parts are the ones that actually make or break a build.
