DAE notice new builds in Phoenix running coax and fiber to the same box like it's 2005?
Walked a new subdivision in Phoenix last Tuesday and every house had both coax and fiber run to the same exterior box. Builder said it was for 'future proofing' but nobody could tell me who terminates what. So now I'm carrying two types of connectors on the truck and half the runs are dead on arrival. Feels like we're installing stuff nobody will ever use just to check a box. Who else is seeing this on new construction?
