PSA: That video of you ranting in your car might not disappear after 24 hours

Betty I get what you mean but I think sometimes people learn more from getting burned than from warnings.

That influencer with 2 million followers swore her detox tea was legit... then the FTC got involved

Doesn't this kind of stuff just show how much we're all willing to buy into a good story? We see a fancy name and a pretty package and suddenly we're convinced it's gonna fix everything, even when it's basically what's already in our backyard. The whole "health" industry is full of that pattern, selling us the same old stuff just with a bigger price tag and a dream attached.

Saw a guy at PAX Unplugged explain his whole game collection by color instead of mechanic

Totally get where you're coming from but for me the color system actually makes grabbing a game way faster.

Hit 200 foils in one shift and my wrist still works somehow

Joel, I get what you're saying about the cost of carpal tunnel versus a gym membership, but I don't see it quite the same way. Your body deciding to "let you have a win" sounds like you're giving it too much credit. More like it finally got tired of being ignored and forced you to listen. I've had my share of those moments where a workout pushes you to the edge, and it's not really a win if you're one bad move away from a serious injury. Sometimes the real win is knowing when to stop and recover, not just pushing through until something gives.

Old timer told me to stop using a handsaw for branch cuts over 3 inches

Funny how fast that "overpriced" feeling turns into "worth every penny" once your arm stops throbbing. That 15 minute battle you had sounds exactly like my experience with a cheap folding saw I bought at a hardware store... swore it was fine until a buddy handed me his Silky and I felt like I'd been working with a butter knife my whole life. What I'm wondering is, did that old timer give you any advice on keeping the blade sharp, or did he just hand you the saw and let you figure it out? Those Japanese teeth are something else, but I hear they dull faster than people think if you hit dirt or bark wrong.
