Overheard a guy at the supply house say he never labels his drops, yikes

Was picking up a new spool of coax at the supplier in Tacoma this morning and heard this older installer talking to the counter guy. He said he doesn't bother labeling any of his cable runs, just remembers which one goes where. I mean, I've been doing this for 8 years and even on a simple 2 story house I mess up if I don't tag things. He said it saves him like 15 minutes per job, but I was thinking about the last time I had to trace a mystery line through a crawlspace for an hour. That one was in a house that had been rewired twice, and without labels I would have been lost. Do you guys label every single drop or do some of you actually ride the memory thing? Has anyone else run into a nightmare job because the previous installer skipped the labels?
