Switched to a Klein VDV Scout Pro 3 for toning out lines after my old probe died

I was convinced my basic toner was fine until a complex retrofit in a Phoenix office building last week, where I wasted an hour chasing the wrong line. The Scout's remote identifier let me pinpoint the exact drop from the demarc, which completely changed my approach to bundled cable runs. Anyone have a go-to toner for dense IDF closets?

Ever try using a toner with a frequency filter? It cuts through the crosstalk in those packed closets.

Filters just add more stuff to go wrong.

Oh man, that sounds like something out of a spy movie! Next you'll tell me you need a laser microphone to hear the fiber optic cables gossiping. I'm just over here trying to trace one stupid wire and it sounds like a beehive in the wall. Honestly, if that fancy toner works, it's probably worth its weight in gold. My old clunker just screams at everything metal in the general area.
