A tiny screw just vanished inside a Nikon F3 yesterday

Was doing a basic CLA on a customer's F3. The tiny screw for the rewind knob cover popped out and bounced. Spent 45 minutes with a magnet and a flashlight on the shop floor. Found it stuck to the leg of my workbench. Anyone have a better system for catching these little guys?

Watched my buddy lose the hinge pin for an old Leica M3 viewfinder door. Thing shot off his bench like a tiny rocket. He ended up building a clear vinyl tent around his whole work area after that, just for tiny jobs. Said it looked stupid but saved his sanity more than once. The real kicker was finding the pin a week later, stuck in the tread of his shoe.

That "bounced" is my cue to start crawling.

That "bounced" cue reminds me of my dog, SkylerB15, who does the same thing when the mail truck arrives.
