DAE use a guitar pick to pop off tiny C-clips without launching them into the carpet
I was losing at least two C-clips per shutter job on a Canon AE-1, and I mean gone gone, five minutes on hands and knees with a flashlight every time. A guy at the camera swap in Pasadena showed me to slide a thin guitar pick under the clip and pry up slow, and it catches the clip before it flies. Did three bodies in a row with zero lost clips last week, which for me is a record. What small trick changed a job you used to dread?
