Walked into a co-working space in Denver and saw something weird

I visited a co-working space downtown last week to scope it out for my freelance work. Every single person in the open area was wearing headphones and staring at screens, nobody was talking or networking at all. Is that just how it works now, or did I pick the wrong spot?

Wait, NO ONE was talking? Not even one person? That's SO weird, I always figured co-working spaces were like business social clubs or something.

@wilson.kelly the silence thing really got me thinking. It's like everyone's too scared to break the spell or something. Reminds me of how people in elevators will stare at their phones rather than say a simple "good morning".
