Watched a coworker go from quiet to leading meetings after he started just asking 'what's the next action?' in every email
His project updates went from vague walls of text to clear, one-page summaries with owners and dates in about 3 months, and now management actually reads them.

Used to find those kind of questions annoying, like they were trying too hard. Then I saw how @vera681 put it and it clicked for me. They really do cut out all the noise and get to the point, makes conversations way better. Changed my whole view on it lol.
