Old timer told me to predrill every screw, I ignored him on a deck job in Tulsa
He said 'son, that treated lumber will split on you every time' and I figured I'd save 2 hours, but after 14 splits and a full board replacement last Saturday, I'm wondering who else learned that lesson the hard way?
