Hated power stretchers until my knee gave out last week

I always used knee kickers for residential work. Thought power stretchers were just extra weight to haul around. But last Tuesday I was installing a 12x15 room in a split level and my knee just locked up on the third seam. I limped to the truck and grabbed my power stretcher and honestly I got that room done in half the time. Has anyone else made the switch after a body part gave out?

My buddy Mark tore his meniscus after 15 years of knee kicking and he still swears by his old method. He just wears a brace now and says the power stretcher is too finicky on stairs and tight corners. I get that your knee locked up but a one time thing doesn't mean the tool is the answer. Maybe you just need to stretch better or adjust your technique. I'll keep my knee kicker until I see a real pattern of injury.

15 years of knee kicking" - your buddy Mark is a champ for lasting that long.
