The installer at the Home Depot on El Camino in Sacramento sold me on glue-down for a rental, and I think he was wrong
I was picking up tack strip at the Home Depot on El Camino in Sacramento when an installer told me glue-down was the only way to go for a rental with pets. But I've pulled up glue-down after 2 years in a duplex and the pad was fused to the slab, which cost me a full day of scraping. Am I crazy for still thinking stretch-in with a good pad holds up better for rentals, or has anyone had glue-down actually come up clean?
