Got my first perfect miter on a big picture frame job today

You ever get that feeling you've been doing something the hard way for way too long? Like @dianal94 said, that last little bit is a killer. I used to just eyeball my drill press table was square. Spent ages sanding things flat. Finally got a decent square to check it, and now my holes go straight down. Who knew, right? It's like you need a client to point out a tiny gap to finally stop being lazy about your own tools.

Shoutout to my neighbor in Cincinnati who convinced me to try a $40 paint sprayer three years ago. I'll never go back to a brush for big walls.

Right? It's a total game changer.

Pro tip: My cordless clipper battery died mid-fade on a groomsman 20 minutes before a wedding ceremony.

That mom popping her head in is what turns a bad situation into a full-on horror movie. You're not just fixing a haircut anymore, you're trying to stop a family meltdown. Every time the door opens you can feel the whole wedding timeline collapsing. It's amazing you got it done without just shaving the guy bald out of pure panic.

I think everyone's wrong about using a laser level for every single brick course

Totally agree. Sometimes your hands just feel the work better than any gadget can.

My neighbor told me my yard was a fire hazard, and he was right.

I mean, my uncle had a similar thing happen with pine needles under his deck. Idk, you just don't think about it until someone points it out. He got one of those leaf blowers just for that spot now. Maybe it's just me but it feels like the fire season stuff gets worse every year.
