Hot take: my old boss caught me faking a proofreading pass and his 5 word reply still stings
Back in 2021 I sent a client deck to my boss at a small agency in Denver and swore up and down I had proofread it twice. He replied with one line: "Page 4 says pubic relations." I had copy pasted that typo into a live client doc, not once but on three slides, and the client saw it before I did. After that I started reading every deck out loud, backward, from the last page, and I still do it. What is the dumbest typo you got caught on at work?
