A mover in Wicker Park said to bribe my landlord with a $50 and it actually worked
When I moved from Columbus to Chicago last spring, a guy loading my truck in Wicker Park said to slip my new landlord $50 cash at the lease signing to get bumped up the repair list. I laughed it off, but my radiator died in October, so I tried it, and a guy was at my door in two days while my neighbor waited nine. Has anyone else done this, or did I just get lucky with a nice landlord?
