Shoutout to the 606 Trail for making my apartment hunt way less painful
I walked the whole 606 Trail last Saturday from the Blue Line to the end near Ridgeway, and it honestly changed how I'm looking at places to live. I counted 3 coffee shops and 2 bike rentals right off the trail in like a quarter mile, which is way more than I expected. Coming from a spot where I had to drive everywhere, having that path right there for running or just walking to get groceries feels like a big deal. My rent budget is around $1,400, and I found a couple of studios just south of the trail that seem solid. I'm trying to figure out if living that close to it is worth the extra $100 or so a month. Anyone here actually live off the 606 and have thoughts on noise or weekend crowds?
