PSA: My recycling bin got emptied into the same truck as regular garbage.

This makes me question if separating our waste is worth it. I want to report it but not sure where to start. Any advice?

Didn't my neighbor have the same thing happen last month? He called the city number on the bin and they actually sent a new truck out.

Yeah but that feels like winning the lottery. I tried that after they skipped our whole block and the city just said "wait for next week." Maybe it depends on who answers the phone.

Call the number, though my own follow-through is as reliable as their recycling.
