Showerthought: I swapped my gas stove for induction back in March and now I'm not so sure I picked right
Back in March I finally pulled the trigger and replaced my old gas range with an induction one because our city was offering a $400 rebate and I wanted to cut my home emissions. The first side says induction is the clear win, it heats faster, no gas leaks in the house, and my electric bill only went up about $12 a month. The other side is my wife hates the new pans we had to buy and I miss cooking with a real flame when I'm doing stir fry. I keep going back and forth on whether the switch was worth it for the climate or if I just made kitchen life harder for a tiny footprint drop. Anyone here made the swap and actually stuck with it, or did you go back to gas?
