Dropped $180 on a coaxial indicator for my mill and it sits in the drawer now

Bought a fancy coaxial indicator 6 months ago because a guy on YouTube made centering bores look like magic with it, and I used it twice before going back to my $12 edge finder and a test cut. Turns out for the kind of work we do at the shop in Akron, the cheap stuff gets me within a thou just fine, and the indicator just adds 10 minutes of setup. Anyone here actually get real use out of theirs or did I just light $180 on fire?
