Dropped $340 on a tool presetter that sat in the box for 5 months
Kept telling myself I needed one for the VF-2, but every job we run is +/- .005 anyway so calipers and a test cut do fine. Finally sold it last week for $180 to a guy in Dayton, so that mistake cost me $160 and a shelf. Anyone here running tight work where a presetter really pays for itself, or did I just buy the wrong one?
That $180 sale was just the tool presetter paying you back for the storage space it stole. Mine's collecting dust too, so at least you got yours out the door.
