Switched from coolant mist to flood coolant on my old Haas
Used to run mist for years because it was cheaper and less mess. Finally switched to flood after a job in Detroit where the mist couldn't keep up with heat on a 4140 steel part. Anyone else find flood makes a big difference on harder materials?

Honestly one thing nobody talks about is how flood coolant changes how chips settle in the machine. With mist you always get that fine dust buildup in corners. Flood flushes everything out better and saves you cleanup time later.
