I couldn't write a for loop 3 weeks ago, but I just built a working calculator in Python
So I started the free Python course on YouTube about 3 weeks ago and for the first week I was just copying what the guy typed and not getting any of it. Then I switched to actually writing little scripts from scratch, like a tip splitter and a dice roller, and something clicked around day 10. Tonight I finished a calculator that handles add, subtract, multiply, and divide with actual input from the user, and it runs without errors on the first try. It's dumb but I literally yelled when it worked. How long did it take you guys before loops and functions stopped feeling like magic?
