Picked Python over JavaScript for my first language and now I'm second guessing it
I started teaching myself to code about 4 months ago and spent a week stuck on which language to pick first. I went with Python because everyone at the Denver library meetup said it was easier for beginners, but now I'm seeing all these job posts asking for JavaScript and wondering if I backed the wrong horse. I've finished a few small projects like a budget tracker and a dice game, and the syntax does feel pretty natural so far. Did anyone else start with Python and still land a job, or should I switch now before I get too deep?
