Got burned at Emerald City Comic Con when a seller sold me a 'first print' that was actually a third print
I was at Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle back in March and dropped $180 on what a dealer swore was a first print Saga #1. Got it home, checked the indicia, and it clearly said third printing. He knew exactly what he was doing because he watched me inspect the cover and never once mentioned the inside page. Now I always flip to the copyright page before any money leaves my hand, no matter how good the deal looks. Has anyone else run into sellers at cons who count on you only checking the cover?
