My local comic group is splitting over movie opinions, and it's getting ugly.

I've been part of this fan club for years. Lately, fights about which comic movies are good have turned nasty. People are leaving because they feel attacked for liking different things. In my experience, this kind of divide hurts the whole community. We need to remember we're all fans here, even if we don't agree.

Honestly, how does ignoring our differences help anything? Sometimes these fights show we care a lot about the stories. If we never talk about what we dislike, what's the point of having a group? People get upset because they feel their favorite stuff is being put down. But maybe we need to learn how to disagree without making it personal. Just saying we all love comics doesn't fix the real issues.
