Vent: Bought the bagged run vs the floppy, now I miss the floppy

I had to pick between the two big runs for a long story arc at my local shop, the bagged set for the shelf or the floppy singles for reading. I went with the bagged run because it looked cleaner on my shelf for about 60 bucks. Big mistake, the paper feels way too stiff and I can't get into the art the same way. Swapping while reading is annoying too, has anyone else regretted going the collected route over floppies?
