A safety guy on my last Gulf job told me my tendering was 'too quiet' and it changed how I run the radio
Randy, our dive safety rep, pulled me aside on a job off Port Fourchon and said he couldn't hear me clearly on the comms over the pump noise. I had been mumbling my depth and psi updates because I figured short and quiet was better than stepping on the diver's line. After that I started adding a two second pause before every call and saying the numbers twice. Any of you guys get the same talk about radio talk, or is it more of a personal style thing?
