That diver who said 'just use more weight' at the dock in Port Fourchon
Overheard a guy telling a new diver to just strap on an extra 20 pounds. Doesn't matter, he said, you'll sink fine. Anyone else think that's bad advice for a newbie?

Can't judge too harshly though, I carry around an extra twenty pounds of emotional baggage so I'm basically a human anchor myself. At least his weight is physical and he can eventually lose it, mine just sits in my head getting heavier every year. Guess we're all sinking together at the end of the day.
