Back when I was doing bench work at a shop in Sacramento, I grabbed a cheap POST card off a guy on Craigslist for $45, mostly to stop guessing on no-boot boards all day. It has pegged maybe 6 dead CPUs and a ton of ram slots over the years, and last month it caught a bent socket pin on a customer build before I wasted an hour on it. What cheap tool from years back is still in your bag that you would not give up now?
