I finally fixed a dead USB port on a motherboard
Cleaned out some gunk with isopropyl alcohol and it started working again. Felt like a win for such a small job. How do you handle dirty ports?

Wild! My buddy had a headphone jack so full of pocket lint that his music basically sounded like it was underwater until he dug it out.

Oh man, @jana_fox50, that's the worst. I used a toothpick to scrape mine out once and it worked like a charm. The sound was totally clear again after that.
