My trick for handling last-minute pour orders from upstairs
When the project manager calls for an unscheduled pour, I immediately check our crew's availability and material stock. In my experience, having a quick huddle with the team to assign tasks avoids confusion. We also call the supplier to confirm they can deliver on short notice. This has saved us from messy delays more than once.
