inMy uncle told me to always pre-stretch Berber before cutting, even on a small job.
Read that's a common mistake, @john_flores.

inHit 50 cookie batches with no burnt bottoms
Dark pans just soak up heat like crazy (learned that the hard way). My mom's old aluminum pan actually cooks way more even, even if it looks beat up. Maybe try turning the heat down a notch right when you start cooking.

inI actually tried that 'apology bingo' sheet on a brand's social media meltdown last week
Check the sheet, they actually hit eight squares.

inSaw a guy in Chiang Mai get his visa renewal denied because he didn't have a physical bank statement.
Print everything, even if it seems silly. I once had to get a bank letter stamped in blue ink, not black, or it was "not official." The rules feel made up on the spot sometimes. You just have to play their game and bring a whole tree's worth of paper. It's the only way to avoid wasting a trip.

inA gust of wind in Kansas City showed me why we check the weather three times
Wait you check it again when you get to the site? Honestly that's wild to me, I always figured once I left the shop I was committed. Tbh I never even thought to double-check on site, I just hope the first report holds up. That's actually a really smart move, I might have to start doing that.
