Serious question, do you track change orders the second they happen or wait for the Friday meeting?
Last Tuesday I finally got our whole crew logging change orders in the app the moment a client asks for something extra, and we caught three add-ons on a $340k job in one day. Before this, those requests lived in random texts and a notebook in my truck, and we ate about $6,800 on the last house because nobody wrote anything down. My foreman was the hardest sell, but after he saw the ticket list he started adding photos himself. Now I'm wondering if the Friday review meeting is even worth keeping. Does anyone here still do a weekly paper walkthrough, or is it all real time for you too?
