Had to choose between a classic bob or a textured lob for a client with fine hair. Went with the lob and layered it with a 1.5 inch iron.

Yeah, my friend tried that trick last week and it totally saved her hair. She has that fine, straight hair that goes flat so fast, but she used a texture spray on damp roots before blow drying. It gave her this messy, piecey look that lasted all day. OliviaGrant, you're right, the volume was crazy good, like she had twice as much hair. She said it was the first time her style actually held up past lunch.
