Hot take: My aunt told me to stop using a certain bleach powder and I should have listened.
She's been doing hair for thirty years and said the 'Quick Blonde' brand would fry fine hair. I used it on a client with baby-fine highlights anyway, thinking it was just old-school talk. Her hair felt like straw after fifteen minutes and I had to do a major conditioning treatment to save it. What's your go-to gentle bleach for really fine hair?

Never had a problem with it myself.

Honestly, I've had great luck with Quick Blonde.

Glad it worked for you. I used their lightest ash shade last month and it lifted my dark roots perfectly in one go. The toner it came with really knocked out the brassiness too.
