I used to be so scared of doing a full bleach out in one sitting
Like, back when I first got my license, I'd stretch a level 5 to a 9 over three separate appointments because I was terrified of damage. That was maybe 5 years ago. Now, after taking a class in Denver last fall, I do it in one go with Olaplex No.1 in my mix and a careful watch on timing. The change was seeing how much more even the lift is when you control the process instead of letting old color build up. Has anyone else made that switch and noticed less breakage, or is it just me?

Wait, do you find the breakage goes down with a one-and-done bleach? I switched to doing it all at once with bond builders in the mix and honestly my clients have way less snapping than when we used to layer it over multiple visits. It feels counterintuitive but the control on a single process just makes everything smoother for me.

Yeah, that's how you learn anything, right?

Totally agree with learning by doing. You can read about stuff forever but actually trying it is what sticks. That's how most real skills get built.
