That Friday where 3 root touch-ups all had the same stubborn gray patch
I swear I spend half my life parting hair into perfect little sections, but this one older lady at my chair in Austin had this cowlick that just would not hold the color. She kept saying, 'Honey, I've gone gray in a V-shape, you can't miss it,' and I'm there with my bowl brush praying I don't make her look like a bad stripe job. By the third appointment that day, I noticed it was always the same tiny patch right above the left temple, so I finally grabbed my metal tail comb and sectioned it upside down, like my old instructor taught me in 2019. It worked like a charm, but now I'm paranoid every new client has a hidden gray zone... has anyone else found a weird pattern with one specific spot that just never takes dye?

Gray patch isn't hidden, it's just where the hair grows different there.
