Walked into a salon in Nashville with a sign in the window and I almost turned around
I was in Nashville two months ago for a wedding and popped into a shop on 12th Ave to kill time. The sign said $15 haircuts and there were three chairs going with no one talking to each other. I watched a stylist rush a dry cut in under 10 minutes and hand the client a mirror without even blending the back. That's not a discount, that's a gamble people take because they don't know what a real consultation looks like. So here's my question for everyone: how do you explain your price to a client who thinks $15 and $65 should get the same thing?
