Found my old notebook full of writing prompts from high school
I was cleaning my attic last week and found an old notebook from high school. It was packed with writing prompts I copied from library books and magazines. Now, I just look for ideas online, but those handwritten pages felt more personal. Do you think finding prompts in physical stuff sparks more creativity than clicking through websites?

Oh please, @the_charlie, the internet is just a billion people reposting the same five ideas. An old notebook has weird stains and bad handwriting that actually jogs something loose in your brain. Digital stuff just feels like content, but paper feels like a clue.

You said handwritten pages feel more personal, but I totally think websites spark more creativity. The internet has endless fresh prompts that fit whatever you're into right now. Physical notebooks just have old ideas that might not click anymore. Online you can dive into forums and see what real people are writing today. That instant access to new stuff gets my ideas flowing way faster. Staring at the same paper notes feels limiting compared to surfing for inspiration.

Ever try mixing both? I'd retype a few of those old notebook prompts into a doc, then hit a prompt site and grab some new ones to put right next to them. Seeing the old and new side by side can make your brain connect things in a weird new way.
