Thought those 'write 500 words a day' prompt calendars were a scam until one got me a 6,000 word draft in Nashville
I bought a $12 prompt calendar off Etsy back in March mostly to prove it was junk, and then one prompt about a missed phone call got me 6,000 words in two weeks. What convinced me was writing at the same coffee shop in Nashville every morning before work, same table, same prompt card, no editing allowed until day three. Now I want to know if anyone else has a prompt source that actually holds up, or a trick for staying on one prompt long enough to get a full draft out of it.
