Broke 1,000 subs on YouTube with a video I shot in my kitchen
It took me like 3 years to get here but last month I finally hit 1,000 subscribers. The weird part is the video that pushed me over was me talking about how I messed up a laminate install for a client and had to rip it all out. Shot it on my phone propped against a coffee mug on my kitchen counter. No fancy lights or anything. I spent hours on other videos with proper editing and they barely got 50 views. Guess people just want the real screw-ups and solutions not the polished stuff. Has anyone else had a random low-effort video blow up way more than your planned ones?

Maybe not a full 3 years..." you said, but 3 years is actually pretty standard for most people.

Pretty much three years is the sweet spot I've found too.
