Why did I tape drywall for 6 years before trying a banjo?
I used to do every single butt joint in my builds with a 6 inch knife and about 90 minutes of wrist pain per room. Last month my drywall guy in Boise handed me his 12 inch banjo and told me I was making him look slow. Now I finish a master bedroom in like 40 minutes and my shoulders don't ache when I get home. The part that bugs me is nobody at the lumber yard ever mentioned it when I picked up my first set of tools there. Any of you still taping seams by hand or did you switch over too?
