Just found out my 'strong' passwords were weak the whole time
I've been using the same pattern for years, like a base word plus a number and symbol, thinking that was solid. Last month my bank in Austin blocked a login attempt and I realized they caught someone trying to guess it in under 40 tries, that shook me. So now I'm torn: password managers feel like a single point of failure, but memorizing 20 random strings is impossible. Anyone else switched over and regret it, or found a middle ground that works?
