Just realized the alternate ending for Get Out was way darker than what they used

I was watching the special features on the Blu-ray last night and found out Jordan Peele originally had Chris going to jail for killing Rose's parents instead of escaping. Apparently test audiences hated it so they changed it. Kinda wild to think how different that movie's message would've been. Anyone else stumble on a deleted ending that totally changes the vibe of a film?

Found that ending on YouTube once. Really changed how I saw the whole movie.

Ooh, which version did you see, @karen_west59? I've heard there are a couple different cuts floating around out there. That studio interference thing is wild, it can totally mess with what the director wanted.
