Switched from physical film reels to digital rips for deleted scenes

Used to hunt down old DVD extras and record them with a camcorder off my CRT in 2011, super janky quality. Now I just pull deleted scenes straight from the streaming service's bonus section on my laptop, way sharper. The change happened when my buddy in Austin showed me his collection organized by movie year on a hard drive, blew my mind. Still miss the grainy feel of those old recordings though, felt more like a secret. Anyone else make the jump to digital and regret losing that bootleg vibe?
