One critique about my color blocking fixed my whole workflow
Someone in the Discord said my piece looked like a bunch of stickers slapped together, which stung but they were right. They pointed out I was using 6 or 7 hues without any shared lighting, so nothing felt connected. I started picking one light source and limiting myself to 3 colors per section. Now it takes me 2 hours less on each piece and the final result actually reads as a full scene. Has anyone else gotten feedback that sounded harsh but totally changed your process?
