Found a budgeting trick that finally made my monthly planning stick after 6 cities
I kept overspending in Chiang Mai and Lisbon because my usual apps just tracked what I already blew. Then I started moving 30% of my income to a separate account the day I land somewhere new, so I physically can't touch it unless it's an emergency. Has anyone else set up location-based money rules like this?
The struggle is so real when you're bouncing between cities and normal budgets just don't fit that life. Moving money out of reach the day you land is such a smart move, it takes the decision out of your hands when you're tired or tempted.
