I mean, I totally get what you're saying about the shift to hands-on yard stuff. It's like everyone in my area decided to build their own fire pits this spring too. Maybe it's just me but there's something really nice about making your own stone ring instead of buying one. It makes the backyard feel more personal and lived in.
