Bathroom reno taught me to measure door frames twice

Got a new vanity from Home Depot in Austin last month and it was 2 inches too wide for the doorway, had to return it and lost a whole Saturday. Has anyone else had a simple measurement slip turn into an extra trip or two?

Ugh, tell me about it. I measured once, installed it anyway, and now my bathroom door closes with a satisfying scrape on the floor. Lesson learned: measure twice, swear once.
